Leave of Absence

So, I've taken a leave of absence from my blog. Not intentionally, but sort of reluctantly. I wanted to post Thanksgiving pictures, but for some reason, it wouldn't let me - boo! I was also a widow for 10 days before Thanksgiving, and didn't really want to share that with the blog world (you never know who might stumble across this...) and that is all I had going on - being alone. Brandon had to go out to South Carolina for work, initially for a week, but then it got changed to a week and a half. I hated it. Now, we're getting back into the swing of things after being gone for the holiday and I've got lots to do:

1. Get the house cleaned

2. Put up our Christmas decorations

3. Go Christmas shopping

4. Work on plans for our Christmas Open House (Megan, I know you won't be able to come, but I want to invite you anyway - send me your new email address!)

I truly love this time of year. Even though I don't have a lot of down time, I love the hustle and bustle, the time with friends and family, the traditions, the lights, the decorations and most importantly, a whole month to reflect on Jesus' birth! We are so blessed!

Well, until I have something more profound to say or blogger decides to let me post my pictures, I hope everyone is staying healthy and warm!
